Soft Tissue Massage

All massage treatments focus on the soft tissues as they include your muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and scar tissue. So essentially all massage is soft tissue massage.

  • Which treatment is right for me?

Sports & Remedial Massage

Massage therapists will use a combination of learned techniques that will help assess and treat a soft tissue injury and or joint dysfunction. They will also offer advice on how to improve posture and stretch the muscle or joints involved to help prevent reccurrence.
They may use manipulation techniques and work through a range of muscle depths, pressures and durations to help improve the quality of the muscle function, encourage healing and improve the range of movement of the joint. This treatment is not designed for just sportsman it can be beneficial to all.

Deep Tissue Massage

This treatment will vary depending on your massage therapist. It will use a variety of techniques and strokes to treat the whole body, with focus on specific areas requested by the client to get into to those niggling knots that just won’t go away and give an overall feeling of restoration, relaxation and wellbeing. It’s a great full body treatment for an all over muscle MOT.
Whichever treatment you decide to receive, your massage therapist will always communicate clearly with you and tailor treatment to your individual requirements.

Things to consider

Ensure you book enough time for your therapist to assess and treat all the areas you require.  For example a 30 minute appointment can focus on legs or your back and shoulders, whereas a 60 minute session could cover legs, lower back and shoulders.  If you are unsure how long you will need please ask us at booking.
