Clients referred for physiotherapy treatment sessions after a Technical Clinical Assessment (TCA) will be seen for an initial assessment within 2 working days or at the next on-site clinic day of our Physiotherapist concluding that Face to Face treatment is required.

A summary of the triage assessment will be issued to the treating physiotherapy to inform their assessment and treatment plan. The assessment comprises a physical clinical evaluation, screening for psychosocial issues and a job demands interview to ascertain current capability to undertake their full role.

Based on this information we devise work recommendations or a return to work plan which is underpinned by a proposed treatment plan.

Referrals can be made directly to our Caseflow portal with an initial appointment booked on-line or via phone/email to our National Service Centre (NSC) who will contact your employee to arrange a Telephonic Clinical Assessment (TCA or triage call).

This is delivered by a UK based Vita Health Group – employed Chartered Physiotherapist. All referrals are supported by our case management service from initial triage through to discharge.

Case management and support will be provided by the Triage physiotherapist for each employee from referral through to discharge regardless of the stepped care pathway taken.

Guided Self-Management

Current best practice suggests that where possible patients should be assessed for serious symptomology. In the absence of such, patients should be reassured and provided with up to date practical advice as per the Vita Health Group Clinical Evidence Guide.
