Our Roles

Dermatology Nurses

Our nurses provide a first point of contact for patients at our community clinics. They deliver high quality, evidence-based care including assessment, non-medical prescribing and minor surgery.

GPwER Dermatology

Our GPs support patients to access effective and timely care, through expert assessments, examinations and diagnostic testing. They provide medical prescribing and deliver minor surgery, e.g. biopsies and excisions.

Healthcare Assistants

Our HCAs play a key part in the day to day running of our clinics, supporting both patients and the nursing team. They provide advice, guidance and health checks, as well as running our medical photography clinics and supporting with minor surgical procedures.

Prescribing Pharmacists

Our Prescribing Pharmacists provide pharmaceutical expertise and input into the care of our community patients. They support with Medicines Management and independent non-medical prescribing and deliver specialist assessments and diagnoses for patients referred to the service.

Our Stories

As lead Nurse at Vita I thoroughly enjoy a hybrid role to include both clinical and leadership. This is a 50:50 split and gives me the flexibility to work autonomously as well as part of a thriving team. No day is the same and the role keeps me challenged and on my toes. I get to visit services all over the UK to provide support and training to my dermatology colleagues. Patients are in the heart of what we are doing, there is plenty of innovation at vita for example if a pathway can be working better we proactively work to achieve this. I am 6 months into role and looking forward to the next 6 months of growth what it can bring to me personally and professionally.
