Vita Health Group is delighted to be a finalist at the 2021 Leading Healthcare Awards for piloting the innovative use of virtual reality (VR) technology to maximise COVID-19 vaccine uptake in people with needlestick phobia.

Vita Health Group has piloted using VR technology as an innovative digital tool to support treatment for anxiety related needle-stick phobia. This has supported individuals to overcome their anxiety to receive their COVID-19 vaccine, in support of our commitment to parity of esteem between mental and physical healthcare.
