Vita Health Group is a part of Spire Healthcare.

We provide a number of NHS Talking Therapies services all over the country and have won a number of awards due to the high quality of care we provide.

If you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed or struggling with your mental health, you are not alone. Vita Health Group’s NHS Talking Therapies services are here to help.

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, or other common mental health problems, there are a variety of ways we can work together, to help you feel better and to make positive changes in your life.

Some of the common conditions we treat through talking therapies include:

  • Depression which can make you feel low in mood, tired and lacking in energy, unmotivated, and struggling to do your usual activities.
  •  And different types of anxiety, where you suffer from constant worry, panic, avoid certain situations, or keep reliving disturbing experiences.

When people think about treatment for mental health, they often think about counselling. However, treatment comes in many forms and different treatments work for different people.

We can offer a range of treatment options, that are flexible, convenient and free for you to access. Our aim is to empower you to manage your mental wellbeing, so you can lead a happy and fulfilling life.

We offer a range of treatment options. For example, webinars led by our practitioners, where you can learn new skills to improve your mood and to cope with anxiety. They are easy and convenient to access online so you can attend them from the comfort of your own home.

Guided self-help can be accessed in a way that works best for you. You can use an online platform called SilverCloud which is an interactive tool that will teach you how to manage your mental wellbeing and can be accessed at times that suit YOU, using your laptop, pc, tablet or smartphone.

You can also receive support via telephone from a practitioner who will guide you through the treatment to get the most out of it.

For many people, webinars and guided self help work effectively but sometimes, a different approach may be needed.
We have a range of therapy options, these include telephone, online, video and face to face clinic appointments. Our practitioners can discuss this in more detail. While we can help with a wide range of mental health conditions, it is important to understand that we may not be the best service for every need.

For example, if you need help with alcohol, drug use, or if you are dealing with an eating disorder, you may need more specialised support.

If you are already receiving support from another mental health service, it may be appropriate for you to focus on that support.

But don’t worry – we will help you to access the right services for your needs. This may mean we give you details to self-refer to the right service, or that we make a referral FOR you, to a specialist service.

It is really important that this is the right time for you to enter into treatment. You will need to prioritise your mental wellbeing in order to give yourself the best chance of recovery , attend regular sessions, and make time to practice new skills in between appointments, in order to make progress.

If there are other priorities in your life at the moment, then you can always come back at a later time.

In order for us to understand what support you need, please click the pop-up in the bottom right corner of our website to make a self-referral. You will be asked a brief set of questions. Please answer all of the questions accurately.
